MEET THE FAMILY!

Our growth

From a single truck and a leased 95-acre field in Wade, Oklahoma, to over 2,200 acres of owned farmland and a fleet of 16 trucks — our story is one of steady, intentional growth.

Top Notch Turf began in 2000 with Lacey Weger and his mother, Madonna, harvesting and hand-delivering sod to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. What started with just one harvester and a broken forklift has grown into a fully automated, high-volume operation delivering up to 200 loads per week across Oklahoma and North Texas.

Through hard work, land acquisitions, and strong family partnerships, we’ve expanded into five key farm locations:

  • Colbert Farm (2013)

  • Rucker Farm (2016–2019)

  • Albany Farm (2018)

  • Platter Farm (2019)

  • WS Farms, LLC (2018) – a 530-acre joint venture with Lacey’s nephew, Jake, in Bokchito, OK

Today, with 8 automated harvesters, modern equipment, and a multi-generational family workforce, Top Notch Turf is proud to serve customers year-round with the same dedication we had on day one — just a lot more horsepower behind it.
